We are looking for an outstanding candidate to join our interdisciplinary research group in the field of Molecular Electronics as part of our SNSF-funded Sinergia project. This postdoctoral position is available from January 2023.
You are an independent, curious, creative, and ambitious team player who enjoys interdisciplinary science, mastering new things, and rigorous experimental work. You possess:
- PhD degree in organic chemistry with a strong track record
- Strong background in organic synthesis, preferably with experience in the synthesis of N-PAHs or fused electron donor-acceptor (D-A) ensemble or paracyclophanes with D-A structure, including work under moisture- and oxygen-free conditions
- Solid experience with common analytical and purification methods (e.g., NMR, UV-Vis, Cyclic Voltammetry, HPLC, MS)
- Good command of written and spoken English
