About “Jörgen Hellström”

Jörgen Hellström is Professor of Finance at the Umeå School of Business, Economics, and Statistics. He is currently the Director of Doctoral studies. His research focuses on Household Finance, Financial Market Structure, Asset Price Dynamics, and Micro-Econometric Modelling. Current research include, for example, studies on household debt behavior and on investment mistakes among individual investors.
He has published in leading economic journals such as the Journal of Accounting and Economics, Journal of Applied Econometrics, and the European Economic Review. Currently he is teaching “Investments” at the Bachelor and Master’s level
