About “Marcus Jones”

After studying Chemistry at Oxford, Marcus earned a PhD from Cambridge in 2001. He then took postdocs at the National Renewable Energy Lab in Colorado and the University of Toronto, where he worked on the spectroscopy of nanomaterials. He was appointed an Assistant Professor at UNCC in 2009 and was promoted to Associate Professor with tenure in 2015. He moved to AUT as a Senior Lecturer in 2018 and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2020.
