YOUR TASKS

• lead a team of researchers towards completion of tasks within a research project 
• organize events for dissemination of results (workshop)
• involve in communication with Belgian and international research entities to promote and disseminate research outcome related to a highly interdisciplinary project
• create opportunities for collaborative projects with view of attracting external funding
• be involved in activities enabling translational research

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• You hold a thesis-based doctorate in Engineering or Biomedical Engineering
• You have prior Leadership and people Management skills 
• You have excellent communication and presentation skills 
• You have  prior experience in interdisciplinary research project management 
• You have a good Dutch and English language understanding and communication skills
• You have interdisciplinary research output which is relevant for the ERC AMICAS project: www.amicas.ugent.be. 

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU

• We offer you a contract of definite duration for the period from 01 October 2025 – 30 September 2027
• Your contract will start on 1/10/2025 at the earliest.
• Your remuneration will be determined by salary scale WM1 to WM4 (if you hold a Master’s degree) or salary scale PD1 to PD4 (if you hold a doctorate).  Click here for more information about our salary scales.
