Dalhousie University’s Doctor of Philosophy in Agricultural Sciences programme offers you the opportunity to pursue advanced-level knowledge in agriculture and develop expert skills. 

This PhD programme is the first doctoral degree in agricultural sciences offered in Atlantic Canada.

As a student in the thesis-based PhD in Agricultural Sciences programme, you will join an intellectually and socially vibrant university community of professors, instructors, dedicated staff, undergraduate students, post-doctoral researchers, and fellow graduate students.

The researchers have access to cutting-edge technology, labs and resources to innovate new technologies in support of the agri-food and aquaculture industries.
