The PhD of Biology and Ecology at the University of Hradec Králové is a continuation
of the bachelor and master studies of the same name.
Within the PhD of Biology and Ecology Biology and Ecology at the University of Hradec Králové University of Hradec Králové , students of this program have three compulsory courses – Collection and Evaluation of Biological Data, Creation of Publications and Professional English Language, and they can also choose three courses from 12 specialized courses, or they can complete a course corresponding to their specialization at another university in the Czech Republic and abroad.
In addition, they are obliged to teach at the Department of Biology (undergraduate and follow-up master’s degree programs, in particular exercises), a foreign internship, a presentation at a seminar or student scientific conference, and of course scientific activities. The study is completed by a doctoral exam in the specialization of the student and the defense of the doctoral thesis.
