I am Gadisa Bekele, an academic staff member at Jimma University in Ethiopia. I joined the Jimma University School of Nursing on September 26, 2014, as a Graduate Assistant II and later became an Assistant Lecturer, holding a BSc in Nursing. In 2017, I advanced my qualifications by earning an MSc in Pediatrics and Child Health Nursing from Addis Ababa University, which significantly enriched my expertise. Since then, I have played a vital role at Jimma University, teaching both theoretical and clinical courses as an Assistant Professor. In addition to my teaching responsibilities, I actively participate in various research initiatives and serve as an advisor for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
My extensive experience in both quantitative and qualitative research has contributed to numerous significant projects. For the past five years, I have excelled as the Undergraduate Program Coordinator, participating in multiple school committees, including the Curriculum Development Committee for MSc Pediatrics and Child Health Nursing, the MSc Neonatal Nursing Committee, the Social Committee, the Project Management Committee, the Quality Assurance Committee, the Research Committee, and currently serving as the Chairperson for the Accreditation Committee. Overall, I am a highly skilled, dedicated, and sociable professional who values teamwork and continuous improvement
