Position Details (PhD Program)

During the first year of the PhD in Economics at University of East Anglia, students attend a number of compulsory core modules and to start working on their research.

Having passed their probationary review at the end of the first year, in the second and third year students have the opportunity to take further optional modules, attend summer schools, and benefit from a rich menu of Personal and Professional Development courses. Further training opportunities are available through the SENSS network. 

University of East Anglia University of East Anglia has an interdisciplinary approach to research and strong links with the Centre for Competition Policy, the Centre for Behavioural and Experimental Social Science  and other research centres. 

This allows you to liaise with academics from other Schools across the University.

Students enrolled in the PhD programme in Economics Economics are required to start their registration period on October 1st of the relevant academic year.
