PhD in Biopharmacy
Position Details (PhD Research Project)
Our primary research focuses on understanding the processes governing drug absorption, distribution, metabolism, and elimination (ADME). A key area of interest is drug transporters and their impact on interindividual differences in drug response.
– You will learn and apply molecular biological and biochemical methods (Real-Time PCR, Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence, Western Blot analysis).
– You will work with cells (transfection and infection models).
– You will perform analytical methods for quantification of drugs (e.g. LC-MS/MS).
– You will supervise students in master thesis projects.
– Master degree in Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Sciences/Drug Sciences/Biology
– Experience in biochemistry/molecular biology and cell culture is desirable
– Knowledge in HPLC, LC-MS/MS is of advantage
– Excellent command of English (speaking and writing)
– Highly motivated and interested in science and research
– Ability to work both independently and in a team

Our lab is located in the Pharma Center, a vivid interactive place with multiple groups working in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
