Dalhousie University’s Doctor of Philosophy programme is part of one of the most active and supportive philosophy departments in Canada and will prepare you for any career, because philosophy is the ultimate transferable skill.
Dalhousie University ‘s Doctor of Philosophy programme is small, but extremely successful. The great majority (about 85%) of our PhD graduates have received tenure-track appointments or other jobs for which their qualifications were considered essential.
