Main Mission

The position holder will be responsible for designing and implementing an optimized, resilient, and sustainable logistics architecture for the JORF-Lasfar site. His/her work will focus on improving routing, storage, and loading flows, aiming to reduce costs, enhance efficiency, and integrate innovative solutions. By leveraging advanced optimization tools and engineering methodologies, He/she will ensure the resilience of the supply chain against disruptions while minimizing its energy consumption and carbon footprint.

Activities and Responsibilities

Optimization and Improvement of Logistics Processes
– Analyze routing, storage, and loading flows.
– Identify optimization levers to reduce costs and lead times.
– Develop strategies and risk management models to enhance the system’s resilience against logistical disruptions.
– Implement energy management approaches and CO₂ emissions reduction strategies within the supply chain.
– Design and implementation of an integrated and sustainable logistics architecture.
– Monitor technological and methodological innovations in the industry.
– Promote research and development findings through publications in high-impact Q1 scientific journals and indexed conferences.

Digitalization and Integration of Optimization Tools

– Integrate the developed architecture into the JORF-Lasfar ERP system.

Collaboration and Coordination

– Work closely with the SBU Manufacturing team at JORF-Lasfar and the GTI-UM6P team.
– Participate in continuous improvement projects, optimization initiatives, and the integration of innovations.
