Postdoctoral Researcher in the Biophysics of Immune-Cancer Interactions

The NanoBiophysics Lab at UCLouvain is seeking a dynamic and motivated postdoctoral researcher to join a multidisciplinary team investigating tumor-immune system interactions. This project focuses on understanding how immune cells are influenced by the tumor microenvironment, with the ultimate aim of identifying new therapeutic strategies to counteract tumor-induced immunosuppression.
The successful candidate will employ molecular biology techniques, flow cytometry (FACS), and immunological assays to explore the cellular and molecular mechanisms driving immune cell function in cancer. The research will involve a combination of advanced experimental approaches to characterize immune phenotypes and their response to tumor-associated signals.
Qualifications:
– A PhD in molecular biology, immunology, cancer biology, or a related field.
– Hands-on experience with FACS and standard molecular biology techniques (e.g., PCR, ELISA, RNA sequencing).
– A strong background in immunological assays and phenotyping.
– Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
