Postdoctoral Researcher in Virus-Host Interaction Using Optical Tweezers
Position Details (Postdoc)
Are you a driven and innovative researcher eager to push the boundaries of virus-host interaction studies? Join our dynamic team to lead a groundbreaking project that combines Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) and Optical Tweezers (OT) to probe virus-host interactions on live cells. We are developing a unique platform that leverages these advanced techniques, and we are looking for a researcher with a background in OT to contribute to our mission.
Project Overview:This project focuses on advancing our understanding of virus-host interactions at the molecular level by integrating state-of-the-art OT and AFM techniques to explore live-cell dynamics.
Key Qualifications:
– A Ph.D. in experimental physics, physical chemistry, chemical biology, biophysics, or a related field.
– Proven experience with Optical Tweezers (OT).
– Strong communication skills in English.
– A record of scientific publications.
Desirable Experience (not required but beneficial):
– Background in Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), 3D cell culture, or virus-host cell interactions.
Application Requirements:Please submit a single PDF file containing:
We Offer:
– A full-time employment contract for 24 months.
– A collaborative and supportive research environment with access to state-of-the-art facilities.
– Flexible start date.
