Professor and Researcher focusing on energy systems modeling and optimization under climate change scenarios

I am a professor and researcher at the International University of Rabat (UIR). I obtained my PhD in 2021 from the Institut Polytechnique de Paris (Laboratoire de Météorologie Dynamique at École Polytechnique – Institut Pierre-Simon Laplace), following studies at École Polytechnique (M18), Université de Lorraine (École Européenne d’Ingénieurs en Génie des Matériaux – EEIGM, École Nationale Supérieure d’Électricité et de Mécanique – ENSEM, and the Faculty of Science and Technology – FST), as well as at UIR. My research focuses on the modeling and optimization of energy systems, integrating technical, economic, environmental, and social dimensions; the impacts of, mitigation of, and adaptation to climate change; hydrogen value chain technologies; and climate justice. My work has been presented at international conferences and published in peer-reviewed journals. In 2022, I worked as a researcher and group leader in modeling at a solar energy research platform. In February–March 2025, I served as a visiting professor at CRAN (Centre de Recherche en Automatique de Nancy) and at the IUT Henri Poincaré Longwy, Université de Lorraine. I have taught physics and eco-design courses in various programs at UIR and IUT Henri Poincaré Longwy.
