Hello, my name is Evgeniia. I was born and raised in Western Siberia, Russia. I got my qualifications as a teacher of English here in Tomsk, my home town. I have been in the teaching field for about twenty years now and feel that it’s time for me to get more expertise in the subject (TOEFL/TESOL). So I would like to apply for an online/blended learning PhD program in my area of study. My interests also extend to modern English literature since literary extracts can make perfect context for teaching English at advanced levels.
I’m also qualified as a Teacher of Russian as a Foreign language and have 1,5 years of teaching practice at a US college as part of my Fulbright experience. I was teaching online and offline on campus at CSU in Ohio, USA. That being said, I wonder if it is possible to apply for a Teaching Assistantship that would allow to pay off the tuition fees. Generally, I will be grateful for all information about payment options. Thank you.
