BS-MS Graduate | Nanoelectronics & Molecular Junction Research | Quantum Transport & SAM Interfacial Engineering

I am a recent BS-MS Chemical Sciences graduate from IISER Thiruvananthapuram with a minor in Physical Sciences and a strong research background in nanoelectronics and molecular-scale device engineering. My master’s thesis focused on quantum interference in cross-conjugated molecular junctions, encompassing self-assembled monolayer (SAM) fabrication, AFM/SEM characterization, and cryogenic charge-transport measurements (60–295 K) using advanced probe stations and source-meters. I am seeking a PhD position to pursue experimental and interdisciplinary research in molecular electronics, quantum transport phenomena, and nanoscale interfacial systems.

Master’s Thesis: Quantum Interference in Cross-Conjugated Molecular Junctions

  •  Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram
  •  Jan 2025 - Jan 2026

Objective: engineering a series of sulfur-anchored molecular platforms and measuring charge transport across structured ensembles of junctions. Interfacial assembly and device fabrication including UV–ozone cleaning, 24 h solution immersion, AFM characterization, dielectrophoretic trapping of Au nanowires, and temperature-dependent transport measurements. Reported coherence-based transport behavior and design strategies for interference effects in molecular junctions.
