Intern
Gained hands-on training in steady-state process simulation with aspenONE software at an oil, gas & energy engineering firm. Modeled common process equipment such as pumps, compressors, and heat exchangers, and became familiar with engineering design codes and industrial project workflows.
Research Intern
Prepared a literature review on applications of artificial intelligence in HVAC systems, with a focus on machine learning methods. Surveyed how these methods are used for tasks such as load forecasting, fault detection, and HVAC control, and summarized the main challenges in applying them to real buildings.
