Your Responsibilities

  • Writing a doctoral thesis at the University of Graz in financial accounting, auditing or related disciplines
  • Independent research activities with a focus on financial accounting, auditing,and related disciplines
  • Participation in research projects of the institute
  • Independent teaching of courses in German and participation in teaching and examination tasks of the institute
  • Supervision of students
  • Participation in organizational and administrative tasks as well as in evaluation measures

Your Profile

  • Completed master’s degree or diploma in in the area of business administration with quantitative focus
  • Very good command of written and spoken German and English
  • Very good knowledge of financial accounting (international financial accounting, auditing)
  • Experience in conducting empirical research including the relevant software (e.g., Stata, R) would be desirable
  • Interest in internationally oriented research
  • Scientific curiosity and ability to work with students
  • Sense of personal responsibility and strong communication, teamwork and organizational skills

We offer an annual gross salary of at least € 52.007,20 for a fulltime position. An overpayment based on qualification and experience is possible.
