Your Responsibilities
- Writing a dissertation at the University of Graz in the area of Physics / Physical Chemistry
- Participation in research projects of the working group Surface and Interface Science
- Research in the field of Surface and Interface Science
- Teaching courses and conducting examinations within the scope of Physics Bachelors study
- Professional and organizational supervision of students of the Institute of Physics
- Participation in organizational and administrative tasks as well as in evaluation measures
Your Profile
- Completed diploma or master’s degree in the area of Physics / Physical Chemistry
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English
- Knowledge of the concepts and experimental methods of surface science
- Knowledge of photoemission electron spectroscopy and x-ray absorption spectroscopy techniques
- Basic Knowledge of Scanning Tunnelling Microscopy
- High level of commitment and motivation for scientific work
- High degree of personal responsibility and ability to cooperate
- Ability to communicate and work in a team

We offer an annual gross salary of at least € 52.007,20 for a fulltime position. An overpayment based on qualification and experience is possible.
