Your Responsibilities
- Independent and cooperative research with a focus on sustainability assessment and management in the context of digitalization and the circular economy
- Completion of a dissertation
- Participation in research projects
- Publications in peer-reviewed journals and other media of knowledge transfer
- Participation in scientific conferences
- Teaching courses and supervising students
- Participation in university administration and organizational tasks of the department
Your Profile
- Completed master’s degree in
- sustainability sciences (e.g., environmental systems sciences, sustainable development, industrial ecology, circular economy),
- social sciences (e.g., business administration, economics), with an affinity for sustainability management and assessment, or
- informatics (e.g., data science, computational social systems) with an affinity for sustainability management and assessment.
- Very good English skills required
- German proficiency desirable
- Proficiency in statistics and quantitative research methods
- Programming skills (e.g., R, Python, …)
- Experience with life cycle assessment desirable
- Ability for independent research work
- Strong team and organizational skills
- High commitment and motivation for scientific work
- Personal and social skills in working in international and interdisciplinary teams

We offer an annual gross salary of at least € 52.007,20 for a fulltime position. An overpayment based on qualification and experience is possible.
