International Bachelor's degree
Language of instruction/Proof of language proficiency
English, proof of proficiency required by the application deadline: Level C1, see Language requirements
Course content information
Fully completed course content form of the study programme:
- List of covered topics during COMPLETE study duration (including exchange programmes or changed study programmes; required exactly once for the whole application)
- Abstracts of course elements of COMPLETE study programme(s) (one document required for each programme/university). Include all planned courses to these lists, even if you didn't take/examine them yet when you apply. For further questions, please contact the study coordination for mathematics ().

Recommendation letter

University of Applied Sciences Bachelor's degree
not eligible to apply
Direct Doctorate (applications in the first application window only)
- For a successful application, a confirmation of the future supervisor (ETH professor) is required. This letter has to state that they will provide the funding for the merit-based scholarship during your MSc studies and the salary for the subsequent doctoral studies.
- Motivation letter: please state in your motivation letter your suitability for the planned research. Furthermore, an outstanding academic record is required.
