For Academic Supervisors
1) Supervisors are responsible for providing true, honest information and the minimum requirements they expect when hiring new master's, PhD, and postdoc candidates. Otherwise, their profile will be suspended by our admin team.
2) Supervisors' minimum requirements for GPAs, English test scores, number of publications, quality of publications, etc. can be different from departments' and universities' requirements.
3) Supervisors are entitled to change their minimum requirements and expectations at any time.
For Applicants (Students who apply for academic positions)
1) By signing up, students agree with the Privacy Policy of Applyindex.
2) Students are responsible for providing true and honest personal information and CVs. Otherwise, their profiles will be suspended by our admin team.
3) Students should be aware that supervisors' minimum requirements for GPA, English test scores, number of publications, and publication quality can vary significantly from their departments' and universities' requirements.
4) Students must be aware that supervisors are entitled to change their minimum requirements and expectations at any time. Therefore, you may see variations in requirement values on a supervisor's profile.
5) Students should understand that Applyindex is a platform connecting them with academic supervisors, streamlining the search process. Ultimately, applications for universities must be submitted directly through their websites.
6) Even if supervisors offer funding and financial support, applying directly to universities on their websites remains necessary. Applyindex solely functions to facilitate supervisor-student connections.
7) By signing up, students agree that Applyindex can:
- share their profiles and academic background on social media and with academics.
- use their CV credentials, notes about supervisors, and applications to universities for personalized marketing.
- use their CV credentials, notes about supervisors, and applications to universities for data analysis and data mining to provide better services.
8) Students should not buy the premium or group membership if having supervisors with grants is their only reason for doing so. Because:
8-1) Supervisors in STEM and interdisciplinary fields are more likely to have grants compared to those in humanities, law, arts, literature, management, and other non-STEM fields.
8-2) In STEM and interdisciplinary fields, you might end up with fewer than five supervisors with grants. On the other hand, you might see more than ten supervisors with grants.
