Managing Director – AI in Education & Teacher Training
Led the development of Rwanda's first nationally accredited AI Technology Program
through a Practice-to-Policy model, securing national accreditation from the Rwanda
TVET Board (RTB) in partnership with the United African Institute of Technology (UAIT).
Designed and implemented a cascading apprenticeship model to develop local AI instructors
and address teacher shortages. Established the AI Business Accelerator with the University
of Kigali (EBCI) to support SMEs in AI-driven digital transformation. Expanded AI literacy
into K-12 education through partnership with Mother Mary International School. Co-authored
and presented the case study "From Zero to Certified" at the International Conference on
AI and Education (ICAIED 2025, Rwanda).

AI Technology Program (RTB-Accredited One-Year Course)
Designed and delivered Rwanda's first nationally accredited AI Technology Program,
approved by the Rwanda TVET Board (RTB) in October 2025. Program combines theory
and practice-based learning with a cascading apprenticeship model that advances
top graduates into teaching assistant, content developer, and instructor roles.
Developed curricula aligned with national digital transformation priorities and
delivered to 117+ learners across multiple cohorts with 34-94% completion rates
based on target audience segmentation.
Train-the-Trainer Model & Cascading AI Apprenticeship Program
Evolved community partnerships into a systematic Train-the-Trainer model where
top-performing graduates advance through structured roles: teaching assistant →
content developer → independent instructor. This cascading apprenticeship approach
directly addresses Rwanda's critical AI teacher shortage by building a self-sustaining
local talent pipeline.
Unlock Your Future with AI Skills" – Basic Community Course
Delivered a foundational 120-hour pro-bono AI literacy course for community youth
in partnership with Club Rafiki. This program served as the initial market validation
step in the Practice-to-Policy innovation model, engaging 50+ learners. The course
covered fundamental AI concepts, practical AI tool applications, and basic digital
skills. Real-time feedback from this pilot informed curriculum design for subsequent
programs and provided critical insights into learner engagement and completion factors
(34% completion rate analyzed for target audience optimization).
AI for Businesses (120-Hour Intermediate Level)
Designed and delivered a 120-hour intermediate-level "AI for Businesses" program
for community entrepreneurs and informal sector workers in partnership with Club Rafiki.
Building on the foundational course, this program bridged theoretical AI knowledge
with practical business applications, including ChatGPT for proposal writing, data
analysis, and operational efficiency. Adapted curriculum based on pilot feedback to
improve engagement and outcomes. Subsequently evolved this partnership into a sustainable
"Train-the-Trainer" model, converting top graduates into instructors and creating a
self-sustaining local talent pipeline.
AI Launchpad for Entrepreneurs (Specialized University Program)
Designed and delivered the "AI Launchpad for Entrepreneurs" program in partnership
with the University of Kigali's Education and Business Cooperation Initiative (EBCI).
This targeted program introduced startup founders and entrepreneurs to AI-powered tools
for business operations, marketing, and innovation. High completion rates (86%+) from
this entrepreneur-focused cohort demonstrated strong market fit and informed the design
of subsequent professional-level programs. This was the first university partnership
to test market segmentation and program effectiveness for diverse learner audiences.
AI Business Accelerator (Advanced Program for Startup Owners)
Designed and delivered the "AI Business Accelerator," an advanced program for startup
owners and corporate teams seeking to integrate AI into digital transformation strategies.
This intensive program built on the Launchpad foundation with deeper technical
application, strategic implementation, and organizational change management. Achieved
94% completion rate among startup owner cohorts, demonstrating exceptional engagement.
Program participants applied AI tools to real business challenges, with documented
outcomes in proposal writing optimization, operational efficiency, and market analysis.
This program established Arise AI Agency as a viable commercial trainer, bridging
community-based and formal institutional education delivery.
AI for Educators & NGO Staff (Specialized Workshops)
Designed and delivered specialized AI training workshops for educators and NGO staff
to support organizational digital transformation. With Mother Mary International School,
developed age-appropriate AI literacy curricula for K-12 learners. For KOICA Rwanda
Office, delivered customized workshops on AI tools for staff efficiency and proposal
writing. For RDIS (Rural Development Inter-Diocesan Service), provided AI training for
NGO staff to improve reporting and proposal quality. These diverse engagements demonstrate
the versatility of the Practice-to-Policy model across institutional contexts and
participant profiles.
