Biomedical Engineer | Nanomaterials & Biomaterials Researcher

I am a Biomedical Engineer with a Biomaterials and an M.Sc. Nanotechnology-Nanomaterials. My research experience focuses on biomaterials, surface engineering, nanomaterial synthesis, and nanocomposite coatings for biomedical applications. I have worked on hydroxyapatite-based coatings for implants, with emphasis on corrosion resistance and electrochemical characterization. I have authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and have hands-on experience with advanced synthesis and characterization techniques.

Work Experience(s)

Research Assistant – Materials and Metallurgy Laboratory

  •  Urmia University
  •  Sep 2021 - Sep 2022

Conducted research on biomaterials and nanocomposite coatings in the Materials and Metallurgy Laboratory, Urmia University. Synthesized nano-hydroxyapatite (nHA) and functionalized reduced graphene oxide (rfGO) for biomedical applications. Developed bioactive coatings using Electrophoretic Deposition (EPD) on metallic substrates. Fabricated magnesium-based porous scaffolds using powder metallurgy techniques. Performed structural, morphological, and electrochemical characterization using XRD, FTIR, SEM/FESEM, EDS, DLS, potentiodynamic polarization, and Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS). Investigated corrosion behavior and surface properties of biomedical implant materials.
