Clinical Pharmacist & Research Leader | ICU Antimicrobial Stewardship Expert | Clinical Trials Certified PhD

I am a clinical pharmacist and pharmaco-epidemiologist with a strong background in clinical research, pharmaco-epidemiology, and data analysis. I currently serve as Head of the Medical Research Department at Saint George Hospital in Beirut, where I lead and coordinate multidisciplinary studies in collaboration with the Lebanese University.

I hold a certification in Clinical Trials and have extensive experience in Good Clinical Practice (GCP), study design, and biostatistics. My ongoing research focuses on an Antimicrobial Stewardship Program (ASP) intervention in the hospital ICU, with two years of pre- and post-implementation data already collected and analyzed. The project evaluates the impact of ASP interventions on antimicrobial resistance patterns, clinical outcomes, and cost-effectiveness in critically ill patients.

I am currently seeking a funded PhD opportunity in Biomedical or Clinical Research through a collaboration with the Lebanese University, where I aim to integrate this ongoing project as part of my doctoral research. My objective is to contribute to global antimicrobial resistance research by producing high-impact, evidence-based outcomes that can guide hospital policy and improve patient care.
