Mr. Seyed Mohammad Javadzadeh is a doctoral student in immunology at Monash University, Melbourne (ranked 42 globally in the QS rankings). He pursued a bachelor’s degree in laboratory sciences at North Khorasan University of Medical Sciences and later entered the master’s program in medical immunology at Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences.
During his academic journey, Mr. Javadzadeh developed a keen interest in cancer research, culminating in the completion of his thesis and other research projects in the field of cancer immunology. Following the completion of his master’s degree, he took a three-year hiatus for military service, language proficiency exams, and application preparation. Nevertheless, he maintained his academic involvement through research projects and teaching at Azad University.
After persistent efforts to secure admission to a top-ranked global university for his doctoral studies, he successfully obtained a fully-funded PhD position at Monash University for the year 2024. His doctoral research project continues his previous work on cancer, specifically focusing on immunopeptidomics—a branch of immunology that investigates the structure of peptides presented in the immune system using biological data.
