Civil Engineers are responsible for the design and construction of all types of structures including single to multi storied buildings, roads, dams, bridges, pipelines, towers , harbours, airports and railways.

Civil engineers also plan, design and test the infrastructure associated with transport, gas supply, watersupply and sewerage systems.
