At the Institute of Logic and Computation, in the Research Unit of Security and Privacy at TU Wien, is offering a position project assistant (PhD). Expected start: January 2026.
Tasks
- Conduct independent and collaborative research and contribute to scientific publications
- Engage in research and project activities
- Participate in conferences and other academic events
- Take on teaching duties, participate in examinations, and supervise students
- Support organizational and administrative activities within the research unit
Your Profile
- Completion of a Master’s or Diploma degree program in Mathematics, Computer Science/Informatics, or a related field
- Demonstrated skill and responsibility in theoretical and/or experimental research
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: Cryptography, Security, or related fields
- Excellent command of English; knowledge of German is an advantage but not required
- Strong interest in research, as well as in mentoring and working with students
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and innovative abilities

Candidates are not eligible for a refund of expenses for travelling and lodging related to the application process.
