The Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation Research Group is embedded in the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences within the Faculty of Movement and Rehabilitation Sciences. This faculty and the Department have been systematically ranked highly in terms of research and teaching quality by independent accreditation commissions in recent years. The faculty has an extensive national and international network in academia. The department can build on a solid research infrastructure, an extensive international network, a stable supply of talented doctoral students and a supportive working environment within KU Leuven and UZ Leuven.

Responsibilities
For the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences, Research Group Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation, we are looking for a part-time doctoral assistant, who will collaborate on a project concerning optimization of the guidance of young (elite) athletes. The assignment consists of supporting colleagues regarding efficient data collection and processing. You are in close contact with the academic manager of the project. Also (directing) the dissemination of information at conferences, meetings within sports federations, etc. is part of your assignment. You are able to work towards writing out project applications based on the collected proof-of-concept.
Profile
- You have earned a PhD in the field of Rehabilitation Sciences, Movement Sciences or Biomedical Sciences.
- You have demonstrable experience in writing up research results and research projects and are interested in raising research funding.
- You have good communication skills, a sense of responsibility and are team-oriented.
- Experience with inter- or transdisciplinary working is a prerequisite.
- You have a good knowledge of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
Offer
We offer part-time employment (30%) for a fixed term of 3 years. Salary scale 44.
