The Innovative Sustainable Energyprogram atTechnical University of Denmark (DTU) is a Nordic Five Tech (N5T) program. This means that you get to study at two out of five of the most prominent Nordic universities: Aalto University School of Science in Finland, Technical University of Denmark, KTH Royal Institute of Technology or Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden.

The Innovative Sustainable Energy program at Technical University of Denmark (DTU) provides a state-of-the- art education in the fields of conventional and renewable energy sources like power generation, solar energy, biomass energy, wind power, geothermal power, and energy utilization in the built environment by means of economically and environmentally sustainable systems and technologies. As a student you will learn to apply advanced methods are to identify, describe, quantify and find solutions to a diverse range of energy engineering problems.

Students will gain proficiency in energy technology fundamentals, energy project procurement and implementation, conventional and renewable energy conversion technologies, environmental protection issues, as well as in crucial phases of policy generation.

  • Graduating the MSc program with a high grade point average may also qualify you for admission to PhD studies—either as an industrial PhD with concurrent employment in a company, or as a regular PhD student.
