Position Details (Master's)
Indian Cuisine and Food Culture from Manipal Academy of Higher Education will examine the central place of cuisine in Indian culture and society. This course uses practical experiences in cooking to understand the importance of cuisine in cultural practices.
Focus
This course will focus on all aspects of Indian cuisine and food culture including cuisines from all over India, Regional and Sub-Regional Indian Cuisines, Tandoor, Halwai, Indian Breads, Breakfast cookery, Ayurveda & healthy cooking, and volume cookery. Our approach to gastronomy is hands-on and we draw our inspiration from a wide variety of culinary traditions.
