The Global Business Law program fromThe Hebrew University of Jerusalemoffers an in-depth and advanced course of study in this increasingly significant field, drawing on the expertise and international reach for which the Hebrew University's Faculty of Law is globally recognized.

Students will engage with core and foundational courses in key areas of global business law, including international contracting, comparative commercial law, transnational commercial law, and international investment and trade law.

These core studies will be complemented by a broad range of specialized courses in fields such as international law, conflict of laws, commercial law, intellectual property, and business ethics. Students interested in exploring the relationship between business-related religious law and the evolution of contemporary and internationalized business practices will also have the opportunity to do so.

We welcome students from around the world who wish to deepen their knowledge of global business law. The program offers a unique academic and professional opportunity for aspiring and practicing lawyers, legal scholars, corporate counsel, and policymakers seeking a strong foundation in the intersection of law and global business. Selected courses may also be open to students enrolled in other programs at the Faculty of Law.

  • The LLM program consists of 36 credits over two consecutive semesters. Students will be expected to conclude all courses for credit with a grade based on either an exam or a written paper. If a student will be writing a thesis, they will only be required to complete 32 credits.
  • The program is designed to be completed inone yearfor students who do not write a thesis.
