Public Policy and Security

The aim of the Public Policy and Security program at Kaunas University of Technology is to prepare professionals of high competence having profound knowledge in public governance and policy theories, able to analyse and evaluate security processes in comparative perspective, to design and implement relevant analyses applying sophisticated methodological approaches that form the background for problem solving recommendations.

Student’s competences, gained during the studies, will allow to:

• Analyse and assess the modern public policy and safety processes at the national, European, international and global level;

• Professionally identify public policy and safety problems, forecasts of their solutions and probable consequences;
