Main Mission
The position holder will be responsible for designing and implementing an optimized, resilient,andsustainablelogisticsarchitecturefortheJORF-Lasfarsite.His/herworkwillfocus on improving routing, storage, and loading flows, aiming to reduce costs, enhance efficiency, andintegrateinnovativesolutions.Byleveragingadvancedoptimizationtoolsandengineering methodologies, He/she will ensure the resilience of the supply chain against disruptions while minimizing its energy consumption and carbon footprint.
ActivitiesandResponsibilities
OptimizationandImprovementofLogistics Processes
- Analyzerouting,storage,andloading flows.
- Identifyoptimizationleverstoreducecostsandleadtimes.
- Developstrategiesandriskmanagementmodelstoenhancethesystem’sresilience against logistical disruptions.
- ImplementenergymanagementapproachesandCO₂emissionsreductionstrategies within the supply chain.
- Designandimplementationofanintegratedandsustainablelogistics architecture.
- Monitortechnologicalandmethodologicalinnovationsinthe industry.
- Promote research and development findings through publications in high-impact Q1scientific journals and indexed conferences.
DigitalizationandIntegrationofOptimizationTools
- IntegratethedevelopedarchitectureintotheJORF-LasfarERP system.
Collaboration and Coordination
- Work closely with the SBU Manufacturing team at JORF-Lasfar and the GTI-UM6P team.
- Participateincontinuousimprovementprojects,optimizationinitiatives,andtheintegration of innovations.
