Main Mission

The position holder will be responsible for designing and implementing an optimized, resilient,andsustainablelogisticsarchitecturefortheJORF-Lasfarsite.His/herworkwillfocus on improving routing, storage, and loading flows, aiming to reduce costs, enhance efficiency, andintegrateinnovativesolutions.Byleveragingadvancedoptimizationtoolsandengineering methodologies, He/she will ensure the resilience of the supply chain against disruptions while minimizing its energy consumption and carbon footprint.

ActivitiesandResponsibilities

OptimizationandImprovementofLogistics Processes

• Analyzerouting,storage,andloading flows.
  • Identifyoptimizationleverstoreducecostsandleadtimes.
  • Developstrategiesandriskmanagementmodelstoenhancethesystem’sresilience against logistical disruptions.
  • ImplementenergymanagementapproachesandCO₂emissionsreductionstrategies within the supply chain.
  • Designandimplementationofanintegratedandsustainablelogistics architecture.
  • Monitortechnologicalandmethodologicalinnovationsinthe industry.
  • Promote research and development findings through publications in high-impact Q1scientific journals and indexed conferences.

DigitalizationandIntegrationofOptimizationTools

• IntegratethedevelopedarchitectureintotheJORF-LasfarERP system.

Collaboration and Coordination

• Work closely with the SBU Manufacturing team at JORF-Lasfar and the GTI-UM6P team.
