Position Details (Master's)
During the Master of Mechanical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), you will not only have lectures and study for exams, but you will also be prepared for the 'real world'.
TheMaster of Mechanical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e),consists of three research clusters, where each cluster has its own research areas. At the start of the master you make a choice from one of these clusters.
- Dynamical Systems Design (DSD)
- Computational and Experimental Mechanics (CEM)
- Thermo Fluids Engineering (TFE)
The specialization you choose is an important point of focus in your master's program. At the same time, the program is designed such that you can also deepen your knowledge in other areas. As a Mechanical Engineering student, you have the freedom to design your own study program.
Career
- Young, highly qualified technicians are in high demand. The job opportunities are great, and have been for years. Most of our graduates quickly find a challenging and well-paid job. Since mechanical engineering is a broad field, you see graduates end up in many different positions and different technical branches. For instance, you could become a technical designer, production engineer, project leader or work at an engineering firm and research institutions such as TNO. Other graduates find research at the department so interesting, that they decide to do a PhD research. Some even start their own businesses.
