Position Details (Master's)
This program provides a deep understanding of international and EU law, focusing on key current challenges connected to international conflicts, sustainable development, digitalization, rule of law, and migration. In this program we focus on how international and EU law mechanisms address such contemporary challenges, while at the same time upholding values that are important for society. The curriculum equips you with the expertise to navigate the evolving relationship between national, European and international law, preparing you for a career in legal practice, policy-making or academia.
Future career opportunities
With a broad perspective on EU and international law, graduates of the International and EU Legal Orders specialisation are well prepared for careers in research, consultancy, diplomacy, legal practice, and advocacy. Career opportunities span government agencies, NGOs, law firms, and international organisations, as well as institutions such as the European Commission, the UN, the European Central Bank, and international courts and tribunals. The program equips you with versatile skills to address complex legal challenges and strengthens your legal English proficiency, an asset for careers in international environments.
