Human Rights and Migration

This program provides in-depth knowledge of international and European legal instruments that impact the rights and mobility of citizens in the EU. You will explore the role of major international courts in protecting individual rights, while also examining the dynamic relationship between migration law and human rights across national, European, and international contexts.

This specialisation examines how national, European and international laws shape migration and human rights. You will explore real-world legal cases, policy changes, and the impact of public opinion on lawmaking. With a strong foundation in European legislation and human rights treaties, the program prepares you to tackle legal challenges in migration, asylum and citizenship in an evolving legal landscape.

Graduates of the Human Rights and Migration specialisation are well-equipped for careers in law, policy, and advocacy.
