Position Details (Master's)

Aspiring to contribute to the development of new therapies for diseases? The internationally acclaimed research master's program in Molecular Mechanisms of Disease provides an excellent foundation for a career in academic or commercial research.

This unique Master's program translates disease-related biomedical research into molecular and clinical experimental research in patients. The program is organised along three major educational themes:

  • Immunity, infection and inflammation;
  • Metabolism, transport and motion;
  • Cell growth and differentiation.

It offers a broad and interdisciplinary approach with the opportunity for specialisation in the form of electives and internships, as well as theoretical courses and two research-training periods. Furthermore, you will receive a thorough training in skills, such as academic writing, applying for grants, and the verbal and written presentation of research results.
