This Chemistry - Chemistry of Life program at University of Amsterdam integrates the study of chemistry and biology, but at its core is still chemistry-focused. Courses cover how chemical knowledge can enrich biological studies, how biological techniques can be used in the production of molecules, and how biomolecules can be better understood with a firm chemical foundation. Integration of chemical and biological/biochemical knowledge is a highly sought after combination for which there is currently a great demand in the labour market.
