Daniela Rosner

Daniela K. Rosner is a Professor in the Department of Human Centered Design & Engineering at the University of Washington, where she co-directs the Tactile and Tactical Design Lab. Her work examines the histories and futures of design, with particular attention to repair, maintenance, and craft. Rosner is the author of “Critical Fabulations: Reworking the Methods and Margins of Design” and leads projects that connect archival inquiry with hands-on making. Through collaborations across humanities, engineering, and the arts, she investigates how technological practices shape social life, foregrounding care, materiality, and justice in design.
