Postdoc in Data Flows to realize Digital Twins in Manufacturing
Position Details (Postdoc)
- To qualify for the position of postdoc, you must hold a doctoral degree in Production systems or digital infrastructures for manufacturing,awarded no more than three years prior to the application deadline*.
- Experience in Digital Twin related research for manufacturing companies
You are expected to be somewhat accustomed to teaching, and to demonstrate good potential within research and education.
- Experience in IT/OT systems for manufacturing
- Designing production systems in 3D environments including simulation
- Sustainability knowledge on triple bottom line and circular economy
- Social aspects and equality in the manufacturing domain
What you will do
- Lead workpackages on the development in specific research projects as well as be connected to and work on the ISO 24247 digital twins standardization effort
- Supervise master’s and/or PhD students to a certain extent
- Possibility to engage in teaching at undergraduate/master’s level
- Interact and work collaboratively in teams with other researchers and industry
The position is meritorious for future roles in academia, industry, or the public sector.
Contract terms
The position is a temporary full-time employment for two years with the possibility of a one-year extension.
The position requires physical presence throughout the entire employment. A valid residence permit must be presented by the start date, otherwise the offer may be withdrawn.
