Position Details (PhD Research Project)

Our primary research focuses on understanding the processes governing drug absorption, distribution, metabolism, and elimination (ADME). A key area of interest is drug transporters and their impact on interindividual differences in drug response. - You will learn and apply molecular biological and biochemical methods (Real-Time PCR, Immunohistochemistry, Immunofluorescence, Western Blot analysis). - You will work with cells (transfection and infection models). - You will perform analytical methods for quantification of drugs (e.g. LC-MS/MS). - You will supervise students in master thesis projects. - Master degree in Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Sciences/Drug Sciences/Biology - Experience in biochemistry/molecular biology and cell culture is desirable - Knowledge in HPLC, LC-MS/MS is of advantage - Excellent command of English (speaking and writing) - Highly motivated and interested in science and research - Ability to work both independently and in a team We offer you an interesting position in a research group with a number of international and interdisciplinary collaborations.
