The Economics program at Queen Mary University of London emphasizes onunderstanding, critically assessing and conducting formal research.

This program is based in the School of Economics and Finance (SEF) on Queen Mary’s Mile End campus.

The MSc equips students with theoretical grounding and applied skills for professional economists, opening a wide range of economics careers through the three Pathways:

• Big Data and Quantitative Analysis for careers in government departments, financial institutions and consultancies as economic forecaster, quant analyst, risk analyst
• Competition and Public Policy for careers in consultancies, regulatory agencies, economic research institutes and think tanks, government departments
