Position Details (Master's)
At Geoarchaeology from University of Brighton you will develop your skills in research methodology, data collection and analysis, and geoarchaeological techniques.You’ll study depositional environments and sedimentology, fundamental in understanding the distribution, accessibility and preservation of archaeological sites and artefacts, and the foundation upon which all palaeoenvironmental reconstruction is based.

The Geoarchaeology MRes intends to maximise both your personal and professional potential, and in particular provides a foundation for careers in research, with a route to further study through a PhD, as well as industry and academia.
On course completion, you will be equipped with practical research-based training, plus the necessary transferable skills to prepare you for career progression.
