Quantum technologies are set to revolutionise society in many ways: from creating new types of computers to solve very difficult problems, very quickly, to making uncrackable communications systems and sensors that operate beyond conventional limits.
The University of Bristol has been pioneering in this worldwide effort for more than 15 years with an approach that uses light and optoelectronic technologies to implement the required devices, circuits and systems.
You will share units with the Quantum Engineering Centre for Doctoral Training and will be taught within the world-leading Quantum Engineering Technology Labs (QETLabs) and graduate with highly desirable and emerging skills in optoelectronic and quantum information technologies.
