This BPS- and BABCP-accredited, NHS-fundedPsychological Therapy in Primary Care program at University of Dundee provides you with the clinical competences to work in modern mental health services.

Delivered jointly by the University of Stirling and the University of Dundee , this Psychological Therapy in Primary Care program is designed by NHS professionals and clinical academics to give you the clinical and professional skills you need to work as a clinical associate in applied psychology within the NHS.

Career

Applicants for this course should be aware that they are also applying for employment with the NHS and therefore must be eligible for employment in the NHS. This includes having appropriate personal qualities suited to employment in the NHS. Recruitment will be jointly undertaken by senior academic staff and NHS staff.

  • The program is accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS) and graduates are eligible for registration with the BPS.
  • The program also has Level 1 accreditation from the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapy (BABCP).
