Biomedical and Molecular Sciences

By taking the Biomedical and Molecular Sciences course from University of Dundee , you'll gain knowledge and skills that employers are looking for – including an in-depth understanding of molecular and cellular mechanisms of a range of diseases, and how this can help develop better ways of diagnosing and treating disease.

You'll experience the latest technologies related to data analysis, cell imaging, protein and proteome analysis, and cell culture and manipulation – including of stem cells. You'll have access to drug discovery and phenotypic screening technologies that are of industry standard, which are rarely found in an academic setting.

Following the taught component of this course, you'll undertake a research project, working alongside University research staff at the forefront of their field.
