What Will I Study?

You willstudy your Foundation program at the state-of-the-art Centre located at the heart of the University of Sunderland City campus. During the first term, studied atONCAMPUS Sunderland,you will take the module ‘Introduction to Postgraduate Projects, Research Methods and Study Skills’ (PGBM001), whichwill give you the skills required to undertake a project relevantto your chosen course.It will also assess your ability to apply your knowledge ofthe sector, use appropriate analytical skills to investigatea sector-related topic and solve problems.

Course Structure

  • The program normally requires 15 months of full-time study.Teaching methods include: classes, lectures, seminars, tutorials, group work, directed study, independent learning and will be conducted in and out of the Centre. Students will be given guided learning hours, but shouldnote that not all of the hours will be conducted in the classroom setting. You will be actively encouraged toresearch using problem solving and critical thinking skills.
