Our course is designed to enable you to develop key skills and competences as well as gain legal knowledge relevant to a career in law.
What happenson the course?
- The course consists of seven ‘foundation of legal knowledge’ (‘foundation’) modules that are core and the dissertation module. The seven foundation modules are: - Constitutional and Administrative Law; Criminal Law; Equity and Trusts; European Union Law; Land Law; Law of Contract and the Law of Torts.
- You will also undertake a 10,000 words research dissertation in an area of law (for the eighth module) that is of interest to you, so that you will be able to deepen and broaden your legal knowledge in your chosen specific area. In addition, at the start of the course you will undertake an introductory module on the English Legal System and legal skills.
