William Wolf is an Assistant Professor of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire. His research centers on the evolution of massive stars and the pathways that lead to supernovae, using computational models and observational data to connect stellar interiors to explosive endpoints. He collaborates with students on astrophysical modeling projects and contributes to public science communication through his professional website. At UW–Eau Claire, Wolf teaches physics and astronomy courses while mentoring undergraduate researchers. His work aims to clarify how stellar structure and mass loss shape the fates of stars and the chemical enrichment of galaxies.
